Good morning friends! Thought I’d share a few photos from my life lately!

Last weekend Matt and I made a little trip to Purdue where we saw lots of friends and family! Feels so good to be able to see these people more often!

Also, Matt has taken on a lot of projects lately including these two:

I am very fortunate he enjoys a good pop of color as much as I do. He also busted into my Martha magazine and made this fantastic skillet chocolate chip cookie!

I am trying to be better about spending money these days. I have always been a savvy shopper, but lately most of the budget has gone towards the move! However, I couldn’t pass up this rhinestone collar shirt from Kohl’s. It looks exactly like the Tilda top from JCrew.

A great deal I couldn’t pass up for $24.99! Plus, I used a $10 coupon I got from Discover…so try to locate a coupon before heading over there because they do accept coupons on sale items!

I was putting together this outfit last night and just about died. Why can’t my budget match my online shopping needs? I mean really.

I need this entire outfit. I love the transition into warmer colors as the fall approaches. The earthy tones get me in the mood for pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin patches.

Speaking of, I’m in need of an apple orchard in KC. I have this deep seeded need to go pick apples this fall… Any suggestions? And who’s with me??? I’ll get the cider!

We hope you had a fabulous weekend! Matt and I visited our Alma Mater, Purdue, where we relished in old memories with family and friends! We hadn’t been back in 4 years, but it felt like no time had passed! Boiler up! What were you all up to!?

My current literary obsession: The Silver Star
By: Jeannette Walls

So I am going to keep this short because the summary of this book horribly spoils the book. It has the same vibe as her other novels…you cannot put it down! A must read this Fall!
