Well it’s officially October and that means it’s time to start gearing up for Halloween! Eeek!!! Here are some of my favorite decor items to make your party or house festive for the season!

Current literary obsession: Carry On, Warrior: Thoughts on Life Unarmed

This has been one of the most inspiring books I’ve ever read. This writer is so real and so identifiable, you get the feeling that you are hearing yourself. I don’t care if you are 21 or 80. You will love this book and you will read it in one day. You will want to highlight every passage. This is a book I recommend rereading whenever you can. She will make you laugh, and cry, and think.
Please read this book as soon as possible and let me know what you think!

We hope you had a fabulous weekend! Matt and I visited our Alma Mater, Purdue, where we relished in old memories with family and friends! We hadn’t been back in 4 years, but it felt like no time had passed! Boiler up! What were you all up to!?
