Tad and I enjoyed a mug of this delicious drink last Sunday night (St. Pat’s day). It was a cold and rainy night in KC so we decided to stay indoors and be cozy (I prefer that kind of night over anything). It wasn’t your typical green St. Patrick’s day drink but it was delicious nonetheless!
This is super easy to make so it’s perfect for those rainy Sunday nights when you want to be lazy and listen to the rain while enjoying a good book. The original recipe called for ginger syrup but that was nowhere to be found at the local grocery store. Instead, I grabbed some dark agave nectar and it mixed perfectly with the orange spice tea.
The days are getting longer and warmer (thank goodness!) so definitely try this recipe soon!
Orange Hot Toddy (adapted from here)
