Happy Wednesday, folks! This week has been overwhelming to say the least (in a very good way!). I am officially done with medical school, we heard good news on the Memphis front (more details later!), and I’m getting my bridal portraits done today! And the week is only halfway done!

With all the changes going on, I am still squeezing in time to shop for the honeymoon. It’s all about priorities! Never mind the ceremony programs still aren’t ordered and I still haven’t run that marathon… I gotta gets me a new swimsuit!

Below are some fabulous items that are on my must-buy bucket list for the honeymoon. The location still remains a secret which is pretty dang impressive considering it’s been a secret for a year! I guess I’ll find out in a little over a month! Eeek!

Honeymoon essentials

J.Crew- Tie-front Halter Top in Liberty Ricardo’s Blooms

J.Crew- Hipster in Liberty Ricardo’s Blooms

J.Crew- Silky Chambray Tunic

Maslin & Co.- Turquoise Zebra Beach Towel

Seychelles- Thyme Footwear

J.Crew- Stripe Jewelry Case

BaubleBar- Crystal Mesopotamia Drops

Gap- Floral Sateen Dress

Have a great day, friends! Hope your week is treating you well!

Good morning, friends! Hope you’ve had a great start to the week! It’s rainy here, but if you ask me, it’s a great excuse to lay around in bed reading and pinning! Here’s this week’s roundup of goodies that remind me that April Showers bring May flowers!!

1. Gold Sandals.

2. Sunglasses.

3. Shopbop Fund Coin Purse.

4. Jacquard Shorts.

5. Brilliant Ideas Notepad.

6. Scalloped Desk Organizer.

Happy Tuesday!

Monday Blues

28 Monday Apr 2014

Hi, friends! Happy Monday! Sorry for the radio silence lately. It’s been a crazy few weeks and it’s about to get even crazier. Graduation, moving, wedding, honeymoon, starting residency… all in the next two months! Oy.

I’ve also been in quite the blog funk lately. Usually browsing the J.Crew catalog and Pinterest bring me much inspiration but I can’t seem to find my groove! I think the amount of New Girl I’m watching is fogging my brain. What do we think? Are 10 episodes a day too much? Nah.

What usually cures the Monday blues is a fabulous new artist (new to me, that is). Below are a few amazing pieces from Amy Walters! Her illustrations are so colorful and whimsical… I absolutely adore them!

Aren’t these great? I want them all!

Happy Monday, folks! Have a great one!

I purchased this Yellowbrick Graphics package that included all the digital copies. From there, you could get them printed yourself or she would put the amount you paid towards a print order if you have her print them. I went with option two because there are stripes on the back of the invite. Two sided items can get a little trickier when trying to print yourself.

Mickenzie, the owner of this shop (based in KC!!), did an amazing job and was so helpful throughout the process! She also does baby shower invites and all things wedding! If you have something big coming up, definitely take a look through her shop!
