beach pic

As I mentioned earlier, I’m still having withdrawals from the beach. It’s getting rough so I decided to dream about the next beach vacation… My honeymoon!

Tad booked the honeymoon at a surprise place… He doesn’t want me to know where until we get to the airport! Erin’s husband surprised her and it was such a good idea. So fun!

The only clues he’s given me are that I need a passport and a swimming suit. HOWEVER, he also jokingly (I hope?!) keeps telling me he booked 7 nights at the Idaho Potato Festival. I love potatoes but not that much.

There are few things I love more in this world than the act of sending a letter in the mail. Now that I am far from my Richmond friends, I have the perfect excuse to bust out the ol’ pen pal system (and of course all my cute pens, stationery, stamps, washi tape, etc…)!

Here are some additional items that I am requiring as part of my “start up” kit!!

20130612-222817.jpg

1. Knot and Bow Pencils.

2. Poppin Lime Green Pens.

3. 9th Letter Press Bonjour Mon Ami. An incredible shop. You will fall in love with everything!

4. Designer’s Guild Postcard Set.

5. Rifle Paper Co. Hello Card.

6. Ashley Brooke Designs Stamps. So adorable. Also, I just discovered that you can go to the self serve station at the post office and print off your own forever stamps that are way cuter than the normal design they give you! I got the heart design (pictured above!)

7. Washi Tape. Essential to dress up that white envelope!

This weekend, write a friend! I guarantee you’ll make their day!

Have a great weekend,
Erin

I’m totally feeling these floral, summer prints lately. Can I pull off the floral pants? Not quite sure. Looks like I might have to snag one of these up and give it a try. The floral skirts and swimsuits? Now those are a definite YES!!

It’s been kinda rainy here in Columbus and in case we aren’t all as lucky as Natalie to head off to the Virgin Islands, here are some ways to make your own sunshine!!

1. Yellow Umbrella.

2. Blair Ritchey Lulu Clutch.

3. Top Shop Polish in Bees Knees.

4. JCrew Ballet Flats.

5. Hattan Home Pom Pom Throw.

6. Kate Spade Saturday Weekend Planner. How can planning for the weekend not bring a little sunshine to the day?

Happy Wednesday!

I know I keep saying it but I’m suuuper sorry for the silence! My to-do list seems to keep getting bigger and bigger and NOT shrinking in the slightest. Whyyyyyy??? Ya know what I mean? Why can’t life be super easy and just exist without to-do lists?! Anyway… (ending rant)…

Here are the pics (finally!) from the gorgeous wedding we attended in the Virgin Islands!  It’s been two weeks since we got home and I’m still going through withdrawals. The beaches! The endless piña coladas! The amazing food! The lack of to-do lists!! I’m thinking of ditching med school and moving there. Smart idea, right? Let’s do it.
