I don’t know about you but I am always in the mood for a picnic. Especially now since the days are warm (but not too warm) and everything is in bloom! I’m stuck in the dang house for the next few days studying so I thought I’d round up a collection of must-have picnic items for the future. I’m hoping to utilize the new park we found quite a bit this summer!

Ok….are you ready for a serious, can’t catch your breath cry? This book is a serious tear jerker. I’m getting a lot of book recommendations from my dear friend Linda and she loves a good tear jerker. For whatever reason….I’m kinda on her level these days. I read this book in one sitting. Could not put it down! It is about a woman in her early fifties who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s at the peak of her career. I love how the author shows the progression of Alice’s disease from Alice’s perspective. It is amazing to watch not only her mental progression, but also how her priorities change when every second counts. Ok, I am getting sappy over this book again! Seriously good read!!

Happy humpday, folks!
I take boards in ONE week so I’m busy cramming studying like crazy. I definitely wanted to share these videos I found on the web this week though… they are so beautiful and leave a BIG ol’ smile on my face. I hope they do the same for you. As I mentioned earlier, I’m still having withdrawals from the beach. It’s getting rough so I decided to dream about the next beach vacation… My honeymoon!
Tad booked the honeymoon at a surprise place… He doesn’t want me to know where until we get to the airport! Erin’s husband surprised her and it was such a good idea. So fun!
The only clues he’s given me are that I need a passport and a swimming suit. HOWEVER, he also jokingly (I hope?!) keeps telling me he booked 7 nights at the Idaho Potato Festival. I love potatoes but not that much.
Planning for Paris
