I may be a bit early with this post BUT the 70 degree weather in KC this weekend made me suuuuper excited for the Fall! Naturally, I scouted the web for all of the fabulous pieces I wish I had for the approaching season. A chunky cable knit sweater, a cup of coffee, and a good book is really all that’s needed. However, Tory Burch flats and a pretty gold necklace make it all the better.

Well hello new-clothing-line-I-never-knew-about, you are FABULOUS! I received Boden‘s catalog in the mail a couple weeks ago and have been flipping through the pages ever since…like seriously every day. The pictures are beautiful. The clothes are beautiful. The colors are really REALLY beautiful. Boden, where have you been all my life??

With the Fall rapidly approaching, I thought I would share my favorite Fall essential: The blazer. You can pair a blazer with anything! A dress, shorts, jeans, pants… the list goes on. And the colors?! Can’t go wrong with them. I’m loving the first one the most… that baby blue is perfect!

As I was picking out outfits for engagement pictures yesterday I noticed how many stripes are in my wardrobe. I am officially obsessed with stripes. Stripes with everything. And of course, bright colors with them are always in style! Erin and I definitely get the ‘bright color’ gene from mom. Everything always needs more COLOR!

Well tomorrow is D-day! The day I’ve been wasting away in my house waiting for! Test day. Time to take the second step of my board exams. I would love any and all positive thoughts as I take the test! I’m thinking an 8 hour exam is going to call for some wine tomorrow night. Yes?? YES.
They usually say not to study the day before…to give your brain time to rest before the big day. However, my neurotic, type A, probably-OCD personality just isn’t going to allow that to happen. There’s always something else to study. Always something I forgot to cover. And of course tonight it’s going to hit me that I didn’t even glance at that table in pg. (insert page number here) of my board prep book and ohmygod my palms are sweating.
Why did I decide to become a doctor again??!
Anyway… back to the important stuff. My love of any and all things gold. I figured I should let my brain rest just a bit today so I decided to round up some of my favorite gold items I’ve been lusting after lately.
