I’m always on the hunt for neutral dresses… they are perfect for just about any occasion! Add a belt to them and I’m immediately smitten. I might have to snag one of these up soon for a date night or dinner out with friends. Pair them with ballet flats and a brightly colored clutch and you have the perfect go-to dress!

Yes…it’s already that time of year to pull out those beads, let your hair down, and go shopping. They say this holiday is marked with gluttony, so why not commemorate the holiday with a glutinous wish list? Who’s with me?
1. This gold elephant screams extravagant!
2. It is sinful how much I want these pillows.
3. For some reason I equate a good party with sparkle. These fit the bill nicely.
4. Please? I need this and pretty much everything else from Matchbook Magazine shop. It’s actually cruel.
5. Fat Tuesday, as it is so lovingly referred to, only means the end of holiday food (except for Valentine’s Day, of course!) and the beginning of the season of gearing up for bathing suit season. That’s right ladies. Live it up because we are getting ready to turn the corner, but it’s worth it with this adorable suit!
6. And no Fat Tuesday is complete without a cookie (or ten). Enjoy!

Good Morning! Here is one of my favorite looks. Bright colors, polka dots, and gold! Couldn’t find the exact links for each piece, but the cardigan, shirt, and gold belt are all from JCrew!
I am also deeply in love with Grace Coddington’s inspiring new book about the ups and downs of life in the fashion world. Plus, it’s gorgeous.

The high temperature in Kansas City was in the upper 60s yesterday. UPPER 60s, people!! I don’t know about you, but when I can roll the windows down in February I get some serious Spring fever! Of course, these pictures don’t really help much. I’m itching for a new sundress, some brightly colored flowers to adorn my kitchen, and diving myself into a great book. Who’s with me?
Maybe if we think really really hard, it will stay in the 60s for the next 12 months. Let’s give it a try, shall we?

Trench coats and scarves are my jam. Perfect for almost any season. I got this trench for Christmas this year. It even has a blue silk lining with white polka dots! The scarf was a gift from my dear sister-in-law Sarah. And the sequin clutch was a Groopdealz score my brother got me for Christmas. How does my family know me so well?!?
