So what’s worse than a wicked sunburn on your face? The peeling stage. My face has dandruff. So not cute.

I can’t really complain though… I did just spend 5 days in the Virgin Islands. It was gllllorrriousssss but I’ve been forced to return to the real world. I’ll be working on getting the pictures of the trip up but it’s going to take some time.  I’m still trying to shake the sand out of our suitcases (It’s EVERYWHERE.) and catch up on 3 months worth of laundry. That last part was a bit of an exaggeration but you catch my drift.

When packing for the trip, I knew I needed to bring a fabulous, girly, light-hearted, beach read. Baby Proof by Emily Giffin is just that. I’m sure a ton of you have already read it but it’s a must-share in case you haven’t. I also decided it’s time I chime in on the reading front on this here ol’ blog. I don’t read very many books for pleasure but it’s one of those things I sooo wish I did more often. I have so many fabulous books lined up to read and no time to read them! If I’m not nose deep in a medical book, I’m nose deep in my computer or the television. How awful is that?? I’ve got to work on my priorities. Reading normal books needs to be on the top of that list.

I’m officially rambling… rambling to avoid cleaning out the suitcases, doing the laundry, catching up on emails, and studying for the dreaded medical boards coming up here soon (like TOO soon). I could add a million other things to that list but I’ll go ahead and stop now.

This book is fabulous. It’s such a funny read and just as cute as her other books, Something Borrowed and Something Blue. Hop on the bandwagon if you haven’t already! Her books are oh-so-charming.

Back to cleaning out the sand!
