This dress is so fun and I have had so much fun styling it with a variety of scarves, belts (like this one), flats (like these), and boots! The color makes it so versatile!

Happy Thursday!!
Erin

‘Tis the Season

Christmas, dress, holiday, Party

I know I know… it’s TOO EARLY. Too early for Christmas!

Except that it’s not. It’s snowing in Columbus, there’s Christmas candy in Walgreens, and I saw my first Santa hat in St. Louis yesterday. It’s officially the season, y’all.

We’ll give a nod to Thanksgiving but our hearts are for Christmas. Always and forever.

The best thing about the holidays are the parties (that includes Thanksgiving!) so it’s definitely not too early to start the shopping… shopping for party dresses, that is.

As I was working on this post, my email inbox dinged with an invite to a Gatsby-themed birthday party… talk about day.made. Now I just need to find me a flapper dress!

Below are some current faves… I’d say these would all look dashing at a holiday party, yes?

'Tis the season

Bounkit- Black Onx Studs // Loeffler Randall- Quinnie Pointed Toe Flat // Valentino- White Emroidered Silk Dress // Elizabeth and James- Northern Star Stud Earrings // TopShop- Duchess Satin Skater Dress // TIBI- Pleated Silk Faille Skirt // Christian Louboutin- Madame Mouse Black Patent Leather Pumps // BaubleBar- Tortoise Byzantine Crystal Pendant Necklace

I hope your day is going swell,

Natalie

baking, gluten-free, recipes

Hey folks! Sorry for the late posting today… better late than never amIright?

I have the next few days off so I’ve been lounging and not getting much done… it’s been fabulous.

I’m currently planning my recipe and grocery list for this week. I’m going to try my darndest to get some amazing gluten-free recipes made this week. My home needs a good dose of homemade cooking!

Here are some recipes I’m eyeing for the week! All gluten-free! Yesssss.

Recipe Round Up 11-12

Simply Gluten Free- Mexican Chicken Noodle Soup

Free Eats- Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Bars

Mainly Gluten Free in NYC- Nutella Cinnamon Bread Pudding

Gluten Free Girl- Soft Pretzels

Forgiving Martha- Pumpkin Doughnuts + Maple Glaze (oh.my.goodness.)

I can’t wait to try them all!

Any recipe suggestions? I’d love to hear ’em!

Have a great evening, friends!

Natalie

Good morning, friends! Hope you all had a snazzy weekend! Matt and I went to a beautiful wedding in Chicago and then stopped by Purdue to take Matt’s brother, Paul, out to lunch for his birthday! It was a fun weekend, but we are exhausted! Here are this week’s round up of treats to help get your week started right!

1. Polka Dot Pajamas.

2. How cute is this garland for the holidays??

3. Time to get those Christmas cards ordered! I am loving this one!

4. Cheers Cocktail Napkins.

5. Department 56 Deer Wine Stopper.

6. IMPACT: 50 Years of the CFDA. I think this book needs to be on my coffee table.

Happy Monday!
Erin

Outfit Envy

cozy, Fall, fashion

So I stepped outside yesterday morning and my entire deck and backyard was a blanket of leaves… you couldn’t see a single part of the deck and not a single blade of grass. I mean COVERED, people! I’ve never seen so many leaves before. We are definitely in the peak of fall!! I just hope the trees hold on to a few more leaves so it doesn’t get quite so barren so soon… winter’s lack of color can really be depressing.

I got out my snazzy new Hunter boots yesterday and tackled the leaf blanket. I swept the entire deck (including the furniture!) and will likely wake up tomorrow morning with a blanket of leaves again. Not sure why I went to the trouble… I will just have to do it again in a few days! Although, it sure was nice to be outside in the crisp evening air soaking up the smell of fallen leaves.

Below are a few pieces I’ve been wearing on repeat the past few days and pieces that are on the tippy-top of my wish list!

Hunter Rain Boots (yes, I’m wearing them around the house. Just because.)

Waiting on Martha Monogrammed Union Tote

J.Crew Vintage Straight Jean

BaubleBar Gilded Elephant Bangle Bracelet

J.Crew Floral Diamonds Scarf (snagged this puppy in the sale bin! 30% sale + 10% discount… it was a steal!)

Gap Cable Boyfriend Sweater

Waiting On Martha Needlepoint Lighthouse Hat

Happy Thursday, folks! We’re almost to the weekend!
