Football Recipe Roundup!

Hello, dear readers!

It’s that time of year again! Football season. It’s at this time that either life with your spouse is over as you know it or the fun is just beginning. I’m more of the former… football really isn’t my jig. Sure, I’ll sit and watch a game, eat a wing or five two, and generally have a good time, but my knowledge of football is pretty shameful. The hubby, on the other hand, dreams of football 365 days a year. He wakes up singing the Arkansas fight song. He eats his breakfast while re-hashing the previous night’s games with everyone he knows. He always has football on the tv… even if it’s a rerun of a high school game from 1956.

Yeahhh… football season.

If there’s one great thing about football, it’s the food! Tail-gating, football-watching food is the best. Since tonight kicks off the start of college football (I couldn’t even begin to tell you when it is, who’s playing, or where they’re playing) I thought I’d put together a roundup of some tasty treats I’ve spotted around the web.

Football Recipe Roundup

Honey Baked Teriyaki Chicken Wings– Handle the Heat

Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs– Parent Pretty

Roasted Tomato and Feta Guacamole– Joy the Baker

Easy No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars– Handmade Charlotte

Three-Cheese Jalapeño Poppers– Damn Delicious

If you’re like me, know you’re not alone. We always have Christmas.

Natalie

P.S.- Don’t forget to enter the Blog-iversary GIVEAWAY! Ends tonight at midnight!! We will announce the winner tomorrow!

Hey folks! Sorry for the late posting today… better late than never amIright?

I’m currently planning my recipe and grocery list for this week. I’m going to try my darndest to get some amazing gluten-free recipes made this week. My home needs a good dose of homemade cooking!

Here are some recipes I’m eyeing for the week! All gluten-free! Yesssss.

Recipe Round Up 11-12

Simply Gluten Free- Mexican Chicken Noodle Soup

Free Eats- Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal Bars

Mainly Gluten Free in NYC- Nutella Cinnamon Bread Pudding

Gluten Free Girl- Soft Pretzels

Forgiving Martha- Pumpkin Doughnuts + Maple Glaze (oh.my.goodness.)

I can’t wait to try them all!

Any recipe suggestions? I’d love to hear ’em!

Have a great evening, friends!

Natalie

Happy Thursday, friends!

It’s definitely feeling like Fall in Kansas City right now. The leaves are really starting to change colors, the wind is blowing them all across the neighborhood, and the temps are starting to dip into the 40s. My everyday uniform is a knitted wool sweater and socks, and I’ve always got a coffee in my hand and a pumpkin pie candle going on in the background.

I’ve decided to round- up my favorite fall recipes from the blog… some new, some old. If you haven’t had a chance to try these yet, definitely get to it. They’re all delicious and will leave your house smelling so dang fabulous!

Blog Fall recipes

Crock Pot Chicken and Corn Chowder

Spiked Apple Cider

Vegan Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Bread

Apple Brownies

Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Granola

Orange Hot Toddy

Have a fabulous day, loves,

Nat

P.S.- In case you missed it yesterday, head on over to Afternoon Style and All Things Unpredictable & Chic to see Erin’s Chambray dress outfit featured on the Wednesday Style Connection! Love these link-ups… all the ladies are fabulous so be sure to check out their blogs!

I’m really not sure why crack actually exists when something like pumpkin spice peanut butter chocolate chip granola is possible. I mean really.

This granola is as good as its name is long. It was gone in a few short days. Yup. Just a few days. Once you try this granola though, you’ll see why it left the house as quickly as it came in.
