WOAH. It’s recipe time. I know it’s been forever since I posted a recipe. So ridiculous. Recipe-testing/picture-taking takes up a lot of time though! A lot of time I haven’t had much of recently! With school stuff starting to die down, I’m hoping I can really start cranking out some recipes. The week with grandma definitely got my fire going again when she made this beef stroganoff for me. It was SO GOOD. It’s hard to find a bad recipe in any grandmother’s recipe box, amIright?

It’s Friday, folks! The start of a three day weekend! We hope you all have some fabulous labor day weekend plans up your sleeve.
Tad and Nat are planning on watching some Irish dancers and tasting some beers at Kansas City’s Irish Fest tonight! Tomorrow will consist of some Arkansas Razorback football (their alma mater). Go Hogs!
Erin and Matt are going to hit up Columbus’ flea market on Saturday and continue their search for all the great places in their new city!
What are your plans for the weekend? Anything terribly exciting? Relaxing weekends with nothing to do are also quite fantastic…

Today is my last day at grandma’s and I’m terribly sad to be leaving. We woke up this morning to a huge fog that had covered Muncie, IN overnight. It was so pretty! Nothing beats coffee and a Concannon’s pastry with grandma in the morning and a gorgeous fog outside.
Yesterday on our drive around town we saw how the leaves were already changing. I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for the Fall leaves, the crisp weather, and pumpkin spice lattes. There’s just something so comforting about the Autumn days.

I’ll keep this post short and sweet as I’m currently in Muncie, IN spending some much needed time with my grandma. It’s been a relaxing visit so far and I’m looking forward to more relaxing days to come!
We’ve watched lots of movies and had some fantastic wine… Of course, cheese and crackers have been a must in the afternoon. You can definitely tell we’re related!
Raided grandma’s jewelry box and found a locket with our pictures in it!
