Is it just me or did this weekend go by WAY too fast?? I spent the weekend studying, watching chick flicks, and wedding planning! Besides the studying, it was pretty much fabulous. I’m all for relaxing weekends these days.

Books, reading

20130726-085304.jpg

Ok. Has anyone else read this book? I was super excited to read The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling after nearly a decade of Harry Potter awe.

The premise of this book is a man, Barry Fairbrother, dies, leaving his seat on the local parish council vacant. The other members of the town then begin vying for the position, but it doesn’t take long before their close kept secrets come out. Sounds intriguing right? Well, the plot is interesting, but it just kinda drags on. Good idea…bad execution.

I normally love everything I read, but this book just didn’t do it for me….did anyone else feel this way?

Also looking for new book suggestions! Have you all read anything good lately? Right now I’ve got the new Jeannette Walls book on the horizon!

Hope you all have a swell weekend!
Erin

royal baby

Can we all just take a minute (or 10) and ogle over this picture of Will, Kate, and baby? I mean come onnnnn… does it get any cuter than this?? While searching for this pic, I stumbled across TONS of pictures of the adorable couple and the next thing you know… 30 minutes had passed! I guess you can say I’m slightly obsessed. They are SUCH beautiful people so it’s hard not to be totally mesmerized. And Kate’s clothes?? I die. I think I’m more obsessed with the duchess’ outfits than anything else!

And in case you missed the footage… what I wouldn’t give to be there!

Okay, back to business. Let’s talk wedding! Some big things happened over the weekend (found my wedding dress! and the bridesmaids’ dresses!) so I’m in major wedding mode. I’m scouting Pinterest like crazy and I’m always on the lookout for cute, new ideas! Here’s a round-up of what I’ve found this week!

Here are some of my favorites this week that will hopefully get this Tuesday started right!

Also, pull out your tea and crumpets! Congrats to Willam and Kate on their new bouncing baby boy!

1. Fossil Zip Pouch. Perfect pop of color.

2. Kiehls Creme de Corps. Literally the best lotion I have ever used.

3. Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken Coasters. Does anyone remember this movie!?!

4. Denim Notebooks. Cute and sturdy.

5. Loren Hope Dabney Chandelier Earrings.

6. Black and White Dots Card Set. Love these!!

Happy Tuesday!
Erin

family, sisters, vacation

Hey all! We are back from our glorious week of some much needed time with friends and family! We wanted to share a few photos from the week! We accomplished lots! What have you been up to??

We found Natalie’s wedding dress! It was a rather quick appointment—she looked fab in everything, but it was love at first sight when she put on the fourth dress! Next June cannot come fast enough!

After a fun wedding planning day, we headed over to Nat and Tad’s for a little housewarming BBQ.

We had a little birthday celebration for our big birthday boy!

We rounded off the week the best way we know how. The Royals. We are diehard and a trip without the Royals would just not be complete.

We hope you have a great Monday!
Erin and Natalie
