Hope there’s a smile on your face like there is on ours.

Happy Friday, folks. Let’s make it a happy, laughter-filled one, shall we? It is Spring after all and we have the whole weekend ahead of us.

Cheers!

Beginning around Christmas time, my friends and I started something we like to call our favorites gift exchange. We have also made it into a challenge. Each month or so we pick a theme, an amount of money per gift, and a day we can all get together.

So, for example, this month the challenge was a $5 favorite item for the kitchen. There are 6 of us, so you have to buy 5 of the same $5 item(s). Then, when the exchange is over, you have all your friends’ favorite items!

Once I move, we are going to turn it into a pen pal thing!!

This is (when you crunch the numbers) a way cheaper option than going out and buying gifts for every occasion. Plus, it is SO fun!!

Happy Wednesday!
Erin

Color, fashion, pants

20130505-230004.jpg

Wanna know how I know I’m basically my mother? I own basically no jeans. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen my mother wear jeans. I totally understand why. They fit horribly, always tight, they lack that certain something. And after all, in the words of Connie, “we need color”. Instead, I find myself with a rainbow of pants, capris, and shorts. While there are days when I am horribly embarrassed to be the one who shows up to everything looking dressy, I’m more often sorry I’m not sorry.

Who’s with me? Here are a few of my favorites…
