TEN MONTHS!!! The last month has flown by, literally.  We have a fast one on our hands!  She is into everything and can now run away when she gets ahold of something.  She started walking shortly after she turned nine months and has gotten faster every day.  This has caused some of those rolls to disappear which we are sad about, but knew was inevitable once she got on the move!  She definitely understands what we are saying because we will say things like bring us the ball and as long as we point to it, she will bring it!  Really feels like we can communicate with her now!  She knows how to get what she wants by pointing and, if you don’t do it right away, is accompanied by a scream.  During the week she takes about three naps because I am not sure how soundly she sleeps at the sitter with the other kiddos so she takes a little siesta when she gets home, but on the weekend it’s a decent morning and afternoon nap.  10-11 hours at night is still her happy place, but there’s still that pesky 4 am wake up from time to time (like this morning).  The need for paci at night has mostly faded too, except for when those teeth cut (two on top coming in now!).  She’s still on her normal bottle schedule for the most part, but just also eats solids three meals a day.   Overall, I mostly feel like she is getting ready to jet off to kindergarten in these pictures which is just terrifying.  They grow up too fast, but we are just loving every minute with our sweet pea!  Just two months until the big ONE!

Baby girl is nine months!  She is a ball of energy weighing in at 22 pounds, putting her in the 96th percentile.  The top she has on here is a 2T…which is WHAT?!  She can crawl, stand, walk behind a walker, babble some words on her own and definitely repeats what we say like mama, dada, baba, etc…She loves all things food.  She still is sleeping like a champ for now…pediatrician says she has three teeth about to come in on top…so….I’m soaking up the sleep now.  She LOVES peekaboo and booping people on the nose.  Get her started on either of those and you’re in for a full afternoon.  She also loves to blow raspberries and is starting to cuddle!  We love you our little sweet pea!

img_1396img_1399-2img_1401img_1403Happy Friday, friends!! I am so excited to share with you the fall products I am loving right now!

Goody bobby pins
–they are now slightly curved, which makes them stay and keeps them less noticeable-genius!
Wet Brush–has anyone else tried these??  They are a total game changer, especially for this girl who has struggled with a huge head of (tangly) hair my entire life.  Brushing my hair used to be the worst part of my day and I am being totally serious.  There were usually tears, but now it’s painless and it takes seconds.  Seconds.
L’Oreal Root Cover Up–right now my grays are keeping me at around a can of this a week.  Goes on like hairspray, but it is colored so it covers up those pesky grays lickety split!  AND it stays on until you wash it out.  Win.
L’Oreal True Match UMI–I honestly don’t wear a lot of makeup, especially during the week, but I do try to wear a little base of foundation and blush and I feel like this product falls into both of these categories.  I still throw a little more blush on, but this gives your whole face that dewy look if you know what I mean.
Cover Girl Tru Blend–On days when I need a little more coverage or I am going to an event I’ll switch to a liquid foundation.  Again, I avoid anything too heavy so this product is nice and I would compare to possibly a more expensive BB cream?
NYX Butter Gloss–Gah.  I am buying this in every color!  So good.
L’Oreal Brow Pencil–For whatever reason, I’ve decided that my brows now require attention.  I spent my teens years taming them and my adult years filling them in.  Circle of life?
Cover Girl Plumpify blastPRO Mascara–Y’all this stuff is magic.
Garnier Micellar Water–All-in-one eye makeup remover and face cleanser!
L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask–There is nothing more luxurious than a face mask.  Makes me feel like a million bucks.
Biore Charcoal Pore Strips–I’ve been using the regular pore strips for years.  These actually do lessen the grease in addition to cleaning out the pores!
Yes To Coconut Body Lotion–Makes me feel like I’m on beach which is always a win, but it  is also thick, but goes on smooth!

All this and more is on sale the entire week of September 11 at Meijer!  I would love to hear what you find or other products you are loving for fall!

Have a great weekend!
Erin

Good morning!! We are finally at the point where E really enjoys playing in the bath!  Like actually splish splash play, not just fiddle with a toy while she sits in water.  It is so fun to watch, but also a total workout.  Last weekend, I decided to move the bath party to the sink so that I don’t have to constantly bend over and keep her in her little tub inside the bath.  Today, I thought I would share some of our favorites for bathtime that make it just a little easier!

Blocks:  We’ve taken a lot of toys that seem bath appropriate and just tossed them in the bath with her…nothing too fancy!  We do enjoy these blocks though because we can fill ’em up and squirt her!
Boon Storage Frog:  This cute guy allows her toys to drip dry once we get done in the bath!
Duck Hooded Bath Towel:  There really isn’t anything sweeter than a babe wrapped in a duck towel.
Tubby Todd Hair & Body Wash: Smells so amazing and 100% natural so you don’t have to worry about chemicals if they get some in their mouth!

What are your essentials for keeping your sanity at bathtime?  Please share because I have a feeling it will only get crazier for this squirmy babe!

Have a great day!
Erin

*I was provided product in exchange for review, but as always, opinions are my own!
