sisters, vacation, Weekend

Erin and Natalie

Yes, it’s official… ERIN AND NATALIE ARE TOGETHER THIS WEEKEND!!

This makes us oh-so-happy. OH-SO-HAPPY. Bloggie sisters and best friends reunited. The best.

We hope you all had a fabulous Halloween! It was pretty uneventful around here as storms in Ohio and Indiana kept the trick o’ treaters away (the nerve!). Oh well… more candy for us!! (Reese’s cups make us weak in the knees).

Be sure to follow us on Instagram for all of our weekend festivities! Tonight will consist of birthday celebrations for our mom (Happy 29th, mom!). We’re headed to a chic diner in Columbus so it’s destined to be a good time.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Natalie and Erin

Hope you all had a swell weekend! Matt and I did not have the Halloweeeny weekend we envisioned as we both had to end up working part of the weekend and then we had to go car shopping on Sunday. Car shopping is the WORST. The worst. So, here are this week’s perks that I was definitely in need of!!

1. Navy dot Baggu pouch.

2. Never been a huge cider fan, but this packaging makes me want to give cider another chance!

3. HUGE news people! Sugar Paper LA is now at Target! Perhaps this is bad news?

4. Crane & Co. for JCrew Merci notecards.

5. Sarra Earrings in Crystal.

Mom, Dad, and Nat are coming to town this weekend and I think we need to hit the shops! So many fun things out there!

Hope you all have a great start to the week!
Happy Monday!
Erin

Well, being around kids all day and this weather has finally taken its hold on me and I am home sick with a cold/fever. Needless to say, I am smitten with all things cozy and warm. Here are today’s treats that fit the bill!

1. Mon Chien iPhone 5/5s Case. WHY are all the cute new cases only for the 5? I feel like they would make more money by selling them once in 4 and then again when I have to upgrade to the 5?! Makes perfect sense to me.

2. Large Dot Socks. Gotta keep the toes warm with something! Might as well be something with dots.

3. How fun is this heart sweater?!

4. You GUYS! These are amazing. They are called Freakers and they are koozies that are like socks but fit on any size bottle. My roomie snagged me this one at Whole Foods and I am addicted! Now, I have my eye on this adorable Halloween one! Also: they are perfect stocking stuffers or to throw on a wine bottle for a hostess gift!

5. While this is considered a weekender, I am considering this for my next purse. I do not understand how people carry small purses. I just don’t.

6. Ok, I need this binder. Plus the inside is blue with white polka dots. Cooome on!

Happy Tuesday!
Erin

Matchbook Frame DIY

matchbook 1

I’ll preface this post with an apology for the photos… achieving adequate lighting for a picture on the wall is harder than I thought!

I was always big on crafts as a kid (family, remember my dolls made of pens? Heck yes!) and it sort of got away from me… my creativity isn’t exactly at its prime and time is always an issue. I gotta work on this!

matchbook 5

The good thing about this DIY is there’s antique shopping involved and the crafting part is super easy! And the finished product is pretty darn fabulous, if I do say so myself. When you can get a group of college boys to come into your house and comment on how cool the matchbook frame is… you know you’ve done well. *winning*

This project can also be a constant changer! Find a cool new matchbook? Replace one of the old ones! It’s so easy to change!

*P.S.- notice a not-so-vintage matchbook in the collection? That’s from Erin’s wedding! (Hint- look for the gold bird!)
