Fun Friday Flats

I’m always on the hunt for cute flats. Being 5’10 3/4″ (I will maintain that I am NOT 5’11”. I need that quarter of an inch) means that flats are more my style… not 3-inch heels. I’m also on my feet all day long so I need something comfortable and cute!

Here are some cute flats I found this week scouring the web!  I snagged a couple of them and can’t wait to get them in the mail! Getting shoes in the mail is always more fun than bills!

Fun Friday Flats

1. Madewell- The Sidewalk Skimmer in Suede

2. ShoeMint – Taia

3. J. Crew- Lula Glitter Ballet Flats

4. Kate Spade- Terry

5. Banana Republic- Alana Bow Ballet Flat

6. TopShop- Millika Lasercut Ballerinas

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

René Gruau

As I was gathering inspiration yesterday on Pinterest, I rediscovered the ever so talented artist of Dior that will serve as my happy mantra this week. We are busy, busy in the Johnson household as we went into contract this weekend on a house! Buying a house is NOT easy, but it sure is fun with your hubby at your side! Missing having that guy around.

Here are a few of my favorite pieces by René Gruau that will surely send positive vibes our way!

Sisters in Paris {Some Day…}

Erin and I have always dreamed of going to Paris together. We went once when we were kids but we couldn’t exactly appreciate the culture then. Oh, to go back again! I’d say it’s about time this sister duo save their pennies for a trip to Paris.
