This past weekend in Kansas City, Tad and I headed south to visit the ultimate Fall experience in KC: The Louisburg Cider Mill. The Cider Mill is an awesome place to visit with family in the Fall… it includes a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and a tour of their cider making facilities. You can even watch them make their delicious apple cider doughnuts! I’m such a sucker for anything Fall, and this past weekend definitely lived up to it. It was 75 degrees here in KC and absolutely beautiful.

As we pulled into the cider mill, we noticed a sign for a winery about 2 miles down the road. OF COURSE we had to check it out… the adult cider mill was calling our name.

The winery was amazing. We ended up staying out there longer than we anticipated… the weather was just too wonderful and the wine was just too tasty! After we sipped on some wine, we toured the vineyards. The leaves on the vines were red, orange, and yellow…So pretty!

This weekend was fantastic… I highly recommend visiting the Louisburg Cider Mill and Somerset Ridge Winery next time you’re in Kansas City!
