Plum Pretty Sugar Holiday Deal

Christmas, holiday, plum pretty sugar, shopping

Holy smokes, people. So sorry for the silence last week! We missed you all! As evidenced by Erin’s post, last week was a bit hellish. It was sooo not working for us.

As they say, upward and onward! We’re determined for this week to be absolutely fantastic. Ya hear me, Monday? Let’s play nice this week… Kapish?

We chatted about Plum Pretty Sugar before here… we’re pretty dang obsessed with them. Erin purchased their beautiful robes for her bridesmaids two years ago and we’ve been obsessed with the company ever since.

They’ve added a holiday gift guide section to their website and it’s definitely worth checking out! You can create your very own wish list! Heck yes. Their robes are perfect for anyone in your family. They’re so dang comfortable and they have the most beautiful fabrics. All of their apparel would make for some amazing Christmas presents! Ahem, Santa… *hint hint*.

This week, they have a special deal going on where you receive a $25 gift certificate with your purchase of $250 or more. Snag a collection of their robes to gift to your loved ones (and, of course, one for you as well) and get $25 for a future purchase. Win win!

PPS holiday promotion

Now before you head to their site to shop, you MUST watch their holiday video! I was smiling ear to ear watching it. So cute!!

Happy Monday, loves! Let’s make this week awesome!

Week Fail

11 Wednesday Dec 2013

K, you know how you have those perfectly planned out weeks? You spend all Sunday (after a VERY productive weekend) meticulously planning your week? Even using coded clothespins for each days’ to-do list? Ok, maybe not. Well, that was me on Sunday. This week was going to be epic.

Around 3 am on Monday, I came down with what I believe to be death. It takes a lot to take down someone who works with kids from sun up to sun down. Well, this one took me out at the knees.

I rallied and was back on my feet in 24 hours…that to-do list was not going to cross itself off! I was sure the rest of the week would just go swimmingly. Those clothespins would just move back a day. Today was great. Then, I get a call from my husband that my trusty red Honda (that he has been driving now that we have the new wheels) broke down just off the highway. I was nannying and the kids were already in bed. Ugh. The poor guy had to push the car to the gas station and then call a taxi. Obviously, tomorrow should be interesting.

So here’s to throwing out the to-do list, pouring yourself a glass of wine, and calling it a week.

Cheers!

girls, header, Paris, winter

Hi, friends! Guess what?? It’s time for our new winter header! Check it out above!

Our friend, Kelly, did an amazing job illustrating the winter girls (as usual). We love love love her work and are just tickled pink that she illustrates for us.

Now if only we were actually gazing at the Eiffel tower with shopping bags in hand… le sigh.

Snow bun

How was your weekend? We had our first snow of the winter here in KC. I know it wasn’t anything like others got but it sure was nice to see some snow!

We kicked off the first formal day of Christmas shopping yesterday and letmetellyou, there are some amazing goodies out there this year! We stopped by J.Crew, Anthro, Sur le Table, and others… Oh, to have it all!

What’s on your Christmas list this year? Anything terribly fabulous? Do share!

Hope you all have an amazing Monday (as amazing as a Monday can get, that is…)
