So what’s worse than a wicked sunburn on your face? The peeling stage. My face has dandruff. So not cute.

I can’t really complain though… I did just spend 5 days in the Virgin Islands. It was gllllorrriousssss but I’ve been forced to return to the real world. I’ll be working on getting the pictures of the trip up but it’s going to take some time.  I’m still trying to shake the sand out of our suitcases (It’s EVERYWHERE.) and catch up on 3 months worth of laundry. That last part was a bit of an exaggeration but you catch my drift.

How relaxing was this long weekend? And somehow by the grace of God I also have off today! Matt came to visit this weekend and I cannot wait until we are back in the same state (less than two weeks!). Life just feels more complete with him around.

Here are some of my favorites I found while lounging around this weekend!

1. These shorts are to die for–this whole look might become a summer staple!

2. This Father’s day card. Father’s Day is right around the corner and since I happen to have not only the world’s greatest dad, but also the world’s great fly fisherman as a father this card seems quite fitting.

3. The Great Gatsby. Saw it this weekend. So unbelievable. Baz Luhrman plus Leo? Sold.

4. There seem to be two dangerous places in this world. Marshall’s and IKEA. This chair is only 20 dollars at IKEA. I repeat. Dangerous.

5. This canvas tote is incredible.

6. Pom Pom flower. The perfect summer accessory.

Have a great day!
Erin

And we’re off! Off on a weekend vacation to the Virgin Islands! If only I could say that every Friday…

I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you all next week! In the mean time, you can follow me on instagram… I’ll be posting pics of fruity drinks and my soon-to-be, wicked sunburn!

Have Mercy is my mantra these days as I am saying goodbye to my final days in Virginia and preparing for the big move to Ohio! Here are a few of my favorites that have really brightened up my week!

1. Madewell Neon Tank.

2. The Sonny Sandal.

3. Bicycle Pillow.

4. Blair Ritchey Tassel Keychain. A must have for when we get the key to our first house! (hopefully, happening very soon!)

5. Hooray Pouch. I am thrilled to finally be starting a whole new journey with my hubby in Ohio!!

6. Make the Most of it Tote. However, it is so hard to leave my friends and life here in Virginia. We are definitely making the most of our time together, which will include a final hurrah here in Richmond with Matt this weekend!!

Happy Thursday!
Erin

Food Blogs and Their Cookbooks

I’ve noticed something lately… something that I’m really digging. I’m noticing these fabulous food bloggers are writing cookbooks and it makes me so very happy.

I visit these blogs daily. I smile at their writing and ogle at their food pics. Now they’re publishing these fabulous books that leave me drooling as I flip through the pages. A pancake cookbook? An ice cream sandwich cookbook? Food bloggers, you’re killing me.

My cookbook collection is stacking pretty high these days… I should probably start working on my exercise book collection (does such a think exist?) to compensate. Maybe I’ll work on that next year…
