Well, folks, it’s official… the sisters and duo behind this blog will be reunited tomorrow! Erin is coming to KC tomorrow for a week- long adventure consisting of some serious girl time. We haven’t seen each other in months and the sister time is LONG overdue!

We have lots of things to catch up on… namely, wedding planning, picture taking, and wine drinking. It’s going to be a fabulous week.

Because we love to-do lists (who doesn’t??), we thought we’d give a little run down of our to-do’s for the week.

Food Blogs and Their Cookbooks

I’ve noticed something lately… something that I’m really digging. I’m noticing these fabulous food bloggers are writing cookbooks and it makes me so very happy.

I visit these blogs daily. I smile at their writing and ogle at their food pics. Now they’re publishing these fabulous books that leave me drooling as I flip through the pages. A pancake cookbook? An ice cream sandwich cookbook? Food bloggers, you’re killing me.

My cookbook collection is stacking pretty high these days… I should probably start working on my exercise book collection (does such a think exist?) to compensate. Maybe I’ll work on that next year…

MAKEOVER!!

It’s official… our blog got a snazzy new MAKEOVER!!

We hope you love it… we sure do!!

With the help of our AMAZING and talented friend, Kelly, we redesigned the header and gave the blog a whole new look.

A few technical things:

1. Our blog address is now planning4paris.wordpress.com

2. Our social media accounts will all have a different name but you can access them all via the icons to the right! (We still have two instagrams… one for each of us!)

3. Bear with us as we are still making changes to our accounts and the blog… sorry if anything looks a bit weird in the process!

4. Check out the new “About Us” section! It makes us smile from ear to ear!

5. ENJOY!!

Erin and I have always dreamed of going to Paris together. We went once when we were kids but we couldn’t exactly appreciate the culture then. Oh, to go back again! I’d say it’s about time this sister duo save their pennies for a trip to Paris.

Over the weekend we threw Natalie and Tad a little surprise engagement party!

Thank you to all of our friends and family for coming out to help celebrate this joyous occasion!

Getting Natalie out of the house was no easy task, but we found a way that turned into a surprise for me! Natalie asked me to be her matron of honor! How cute is this card?
