Good morning! Earlier this week, Natalie shared what was in her bag and today I bring you mine! I take purse packing very seriously. I repack it every single night. I typically work three jobs everyday without retuning home in between. A meticulously packed bag can help you feel ready for the day! Here are the items you will find every single day in my bag.

1. Baggu Reusable Bags. I cannot get enough of these things. Not only are the color options and patterns to die for, they are incredibly sturdy and hold a ton!!

2. Well-Kept Screen Cleansing Cloths. I work with children and I let them play with my phone and iPad. Yikes, I know. These cloths are a lifesaver.

3. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps. I actually don’t know how I survived pre-Kiehl’s. It’s insane how good this lotion is.

4. JCrew Backup Battery. Most days, I work longer than my battery life. Awesome.

5. Leather Journal. If you’re interested, I can show you the inside of my notebook, but it’s my bloggie inspiration. I tear out magazine pages, doodle, make lists, write down thoughts, etc… The trick is getting a sturdy journal so the cover won’t tear off from being in your bag everyday. The other key is one that closes! It either needs to be rubber banded or snapped. Otherwise your pages will get smushed.

6. Spiral Planner. I can’t even tell you how much I love this thing. I never leave the house without it.

7. Bills, letters, etc…I still do things the old fashioned way and I like it. #igotitfrommymomma

8. iPad Case. It’s padded and it has polka dots.

9. Nautical Stripe Tote. Ok. This bag was $15. Regular price.

So what’s in your bag??

Happy weekend!!
Erin

Darling

It’s that time again! Time to round up my new finds, current musings, and my every day thoughts from the week! It’s almost the weekend, so let’s toast to a grand week and an even grander weekend.

1. What better way to toast than with a fabulous margarita recipe! This blackberry margarita sounds pretty dang fantastic.

P.S.- I hope you all had a fabulous Cinco de Mayo. Shall we continue the celebrations this weekend? Let’s do it! Cheers!

2. Need help setting a table? Waiting on Martha is your gal! This handy (and crazy beautiful) guide can help anyone conquer  the always-challenging table setting. Now I need to get my hands on that dinnerware of hers… swoon!!

3. New Kate Spade arrivals? Enough said. Take me to Rio, please!

4. A fashion illustrator that illustrates with petals– the most unique, inspiring, and beautiful work I’ve seen all week! I can’t stop looking at her Instagram feed!

5. Speaking of fashion and unique, meet Mayhem, the most talented 4-year-old fashionista around. Mayhem and her mom make red-carpet worthy dresses out of your everyday craft materials, and the results are to-die-for. She even got tapped by Vogue! Be sure to browse her A-mazing instagram account.

6. The May Matchbook Magazine is now live! Always a treat to go through, this issue is especially divine since it’s the wedding issue!

7. Speaking of weddings… 1 MONTH TO GO before Tad and I tie the knot! Holy goodness how did it come up so fast?! I better get to ordering those ceremony programs!

8. Can we please talk about the fact that the Royal Princes of Cuteness were in Memphis this past weekend?? And I WASN’T. Sad day. Prince William and Harry, come back for a visit? Please? And bring Kate and the babes? K thanks.

9. We’ve got big things happening in the White-Dunlap households these next two weeks! My brother graduates from the University of Arkansas this weekend, Tad graduates with his MBA next Friday night, and I’ll graduate from medical school next Saturday morning! Holy diplomas! Can’t believe it’s all happening so soon!

10. I’ll leave you with this- The cutest 3-year old dancing to ‘Happy’. This mother-daughter duo is just the sweetest! I hope this brightens your day!

Happy Thursday!

Natalie

Good morning! Today, I thought I would share a little gift idea for the mum in your life. This, in my opinion, is the best kind of gift. An assortment of goodies!! Here’s a few things to get you thinking!

1. DIY Wrapped Succulent. Or you could wrap any small little flower pot!

2. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps.

3. Essie Sheer nail polish.

4. Verbena & Sage liquid soap.

5. Vitamin B facial cleanser.

6. Scalloped Pink Desk Organizer. Such a cute little something to organize the goodies into! You could also use a basket or fun tote bag!!

You could also throw chocolates in there, a bottle of wine, stripe straws, notepad, or any other fun little touches you know your momma would love!!

Oh and don’t forget to clip on a darling mother’s day card to tell your mom how much she means to you!

Happy Wednesday!
Erin

natalie's bag

Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope you all are recovering nicely from Cinco de Mayo. Those chips and margaritas can really sneak up on ya!

Today I thought I’d share my go-to items for every day travel. These things can always be found in my bag. I never leave the house without them! My purse weighs 100 5 pounds but I’m telling you, these are the essentials! Tad, however, may disagree. 🙂

What's in natalie's bag?

BKR Bottle– Never leave the house without this. Definitely an essential.

Jouer ‘Lip Enhancing’ Conditioning Lip Treatment– I used this so much this past winter.

Kate Spade- ‘Cobble Hill-Bee’ Wristlet– Doubles as a coin purse for me!

J.Crew. Backup Battery for iPhone– I’m on my phone wayyy too much so this always comes in handy!

Tide to Go pen– Unfortunately, I need this way too often.

Madewell for Birchbox Nail Emery Board

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment– This gives your lips the prettiest color.

Any must-have items that you carry around? We’d love to hear ’em!

Stay tuned for Erin’s purse essentials later this week!
