Can I admit something to you? We’re all friends here, right?

I don’t know who’s playing in the Super Bowl.

There. I said it. You know what I like about the Super Bowl? The family, friends, snacks, drinks, and commercials. You know what I don’t really like about the Super Bowl? Football.

I feel like a traitor. A disappointment. I feel so anti-American! BUT I don’t see this fact changing anytime soon.

Ok, so buying for the man in your life is, at least for me, the most difficult thing on the planet. And lucky me, his birthday is only one short month later. Ugh. Here is a little gift guide for ya that might ease the stress a bit!

1. This Rail and Wharf Dopp Kit is a great grooming carry-all. Very dapper.

2. Hendrick’s Gin. At least in our house, the season of whiskey gingers is ending and the season of gin and tonics is beginning. Nothing says love like a nice bottle of gin.

3. The Food Truck Cookbook. Embarrassingly enough, I’m not that great of a cook. The GREAT news is that Matt rocks. This is a great man cookbook and is definitely a contender for this year’s perfect gift.

So, this crazy weather has me super excited for all that is in store for the next couple of seasons. Richmond has seen some seriously warm weather this week (plus an ice delay, crazzzy wind at the moment, and snow in the forecast!). Here are some of my seasonal thoughts and fun finds this week!

1. I am so excited! I won this print in an iPhone case this week! Caroline Wang is an incredible designer. You can find her shop on etsy here!

2. What the what?!? It’s a USB drive!! Oh, Kate. Every.time.

3. Ok, so all this warm weather in January is making me start thinking summer. Hat’s off to that!

4. There’s just something about the warmer weather that make salads more appealing. Plus, this salad is served up on pizza! Amazing.

5. Reality is that rainy season is upon us. So, thinking a new umbrella is in order?

6. I’m sensing a ladies brunch in the near future. This fresh take on a mimosa is a must try!
