I must admit, I’ve always been a fan of the color mint. It’s such a pleasant color, isn’t it? I’ve been seeing quite a bit of it lately and am definitely okay with that!

It was 70 degrees in KC yesterday and will be 76 today… Spring is making its way in! Mint is such a Spring color so I think I’ll need to get one of each of these items in this fabulous color!

How amazing are those printed pants?  I’m all about a printed pant! I think these might have to be a must-have item for the coming months!

Feelin' Minty

Essie- Mint Candy Apple

EOS- Sweet Mint Lip Balm

Gap- 1969 Tropical Always Mint Skinny Skimmer Jeans

Piperlime- Sand Dollar Short Sleeve Top

J.Crew- Color Block Leather Pouch

J.Crew- Mint Spike Bracelet

I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Happy Tuesday!

Dreaming of Spring

YOU GUYS. This week I….

1) Woke up to birds chirping.

2) Fell asleep to a thunderstorm.

3) Watched snow melt in 60 degree weather.

4) Wore my Spring sweaters.

5) Sported my Wellies.

6) Went for a walk with Tad and the pup.

7) Praised the good Lord above for SPRINGGGGG. Please oh please let it stay??!

The only thing I wish I could change is the dang black cat in the neighborhood that sits on our fence every day drooling over the newly created birds nest above our kitchen window. Damn cat! Scat! Those birdies need to fly! How high can cats jump? I’m seriously worried he’s going to snatch the birds! Google search: how to turn your neighborhood cat into an herbivore.

On a happier note, I dreamed up an outfit this week that consists of only the spring essentials: umbrellas, polka dots, and pastels. Sign. Me. UP!

Dreaming of Spring

Ray-Ban Aviators

SheInside- Apricot Short Sleeve Hollow Crochet Lace Top

Target- Totes Clear Bubble Umbrella Silver Trim

SheInside- Pink Boyfriend Ponte Rolled Sleeves Blazer

Anita Ko- Spike 14-karat Rose Gold Stud Earrings

Essie- Cocktails & Coconuts

West Elm- Canvas with Leather Tote Bag

Topman- Light Mint Green Skinny Chinos

Gap- Printed Pointy Flats

I hope you all are getting a taste of the fabulous season to come. The best part of living in the midwest? Four seasons… even in February! #grateful

Happy Friday, friends! Have a great one!

Fancy dinner with wine? Fancy carriage ride with roses? Fancy night on the couch with wine?

I think we’re going for the latter! With some big events coming up this Spring, nothing sounds better than dressing in our PJs, ordering take out, catching up on some Downton Abbey, and sipping on some wine.

What about you? Any big plans for V-day? I’d love to hear ’em!

Since we’ll probably be spending the evening with our two favorites, couch and Chardonnay, I’ll be dreaming of this outfit! How perfect would this get- up be for a night on the town?! I’m so in love with the blouse-tucked-into-skirt look… so so chic. I’ll take one of everything, please!

Valentine's Day outfit

J.Crew- Silk Georgette Blouse

BaubleBar- Crystal Flora Bib

Saint Laurent- ‘Monogramme’ Clutch

Sarah Chloe- Love Ring
