Good morning, friends!  It’s been another great week around here.  I am sad to report that I only have one mere week left of summer break.  I am trying to stay positive as I know that this is time with my girl that not a lot of people get, including my hubby.  The little girl in me is REAL excited to bust out a new planner, new supplies, and walk into that classroom with fresh eyes and a fresh heart.  BUT, oh summer, you were swell.  I feel like I am going to miss so much, but her sitter is so awesome and I know she loves going there and that’s just another person that gets to love on her and be a part of her life.  See all the self-talk happening around here?

Anywho, let’s get to it.  I haven’t done a roundup of my favorite things in awhile so here it goes:

  1. Girl’s Striped Dress because a girl can never have too many striped numbers.  Especially for $15
  2. Toy Car Already starting to think about E’s birthday AND Christmas because they are only 4 days apart.  Yikes.
  3. Rabbit Doll  As far as baby stuff goes, I’ve tried to stay neutral in the event we have a boy someday because they use this stuff for like a week.  But she’s getting to an age where she will play with toys for awhile and she will cherish toys like this forever!
  4. Freshly Picked Moccasins The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is happening now if you are a cardholder, opens to everyone else the 22nd.  These moccs will be 41.90 during the sale!  Which is great for shoes that actually stay on!
  5. Eyebrow Primer the condition of my eyebrows is pathetic right now.  They need a little love, so I splurged on this and the…
  6. Volumizing Fiber Gel super easy to apply and I have noticed a huge difference.  Makes me feel a lot more put together.
  7. Sugar Paper Lamp Sugar Paper for Target has put out all of their new desk/school supplies and they are all just perfection.  This lamp is a mere 34.99 which for a sleek lamp, is a steal.
  8. Gold Dots and Stripes Washi Tape I go through gold washi tape the fastest (I use it on all invites and for Christmas) so two rolls for 3.99 is a great price!
  9. Oops Eraser Too cute to pass up.
  10. Rifle Paper Co. Planner Picking out my planner for the year is by far my favorite thing to do.  I can’t wait to break it open and fill it out!  I always wait until the first day of teacher work week, it gives me something to look forward to!

What are you all loving this week??

…and the winner of the Little Standout Giveaway is Nicole B.!  Be on the lookout for an email from me later today!  If you weren’t a winner you can still get 15% off your purchase with code PARIS15!  Thank you to all who entered!

Hope you all have a great weekend!
Erin

Good morning, friends!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  Last Thursday we headed down to Columbus Commons for the free downtown live concert and had an absolute blast!  Eleanor rode the carousel, we ate at the Paddy Wagon food truck, obviously stopped by our fave ice cream, Jeni’s, and listened to some awesome bands!  We didn’t quite make it to the Spikedrivers, who came on at 9, but there were other great bands that started around 5:30!  Bar and food trucks open at 5!

If you are in Columbus, be sure to stop by!  Here is the lineup for the next three weeks!

July 14: The Floorwalkers
July 21: The Conspiracy Band
July 28: Mojoflo

…and don’t forget there is still time to enter the Little Standout Giveaway!  Winner announced Friday!
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Good morning!  We spent the happiest day at the zoo yesterday!  It was the perfect temp and we got there in time to see Nora, the baby polar bear, who is only out for about an hour in the morning!  E also got to feed the giraffes, which again, we stumbled upon at just the perfect time!  Eleanor grabbed her Camera Teether and snapped the whole day!  She’s just the best.

Speaking of the best, these teethers are amazing.  They are so so easy for her to grab and to hang onto.  Another aspect I love is that it is easy for her to hold WHILE she gums it in her mouth.  With a lot of teethers it seems to be hard to accomplish both, especially having small enough parts that she can comfortably put in her mouth at this age.  Plus, aren’t they the cutest??

I am so excited to give away a $25 credit to one reader today!  Enter through the rafflecopter below!

…and in the meantime you can snag 15% off your purchase with code paris15!

Good luck and have a great weekend, friends!

*I was sent a teether for review, but, as always, opinions are my own

Hi, friends!  Natalie is in town this whole week so to give her a taste of Columbus, we headed out to a picnic in the park! We stopped in Brown Bag Deli and then headed to Schiller Park across the street!  It is so so fun having Aunt Nennie in town!  Eleanor is all over the place and it is so nice to have an extra pair of hands for these little outings!

E and I are wearing our matching t-shirt and onesie from Clothe Ohio.  I just love this company.  Not only do they have the cutest Ohio apparel, they also are a company with heart.  For every purchase, they donate to an Ohioan in need of clothing.  Through the end of July they are offering you all free shipping with any purchase with code planningforparis!  We love our local businesses, especially ones that give back.

Stay tuned for more from Nat’s visit in the next few days!  Happy Wednesday!
Erin

Bear with me on this post, friends, it has been an exciting month!  We love summer!

IMG_9282
Makeshift pools and cute suits are almost a daily staple around here!

IMG_9336
Lunch with eight of her friends that are under the age of four and nine adults.  It was a sight.

IMG_9380
A crop top on a baby.  Who would have thought it would be so cute!?!

IMG_9403
E visited her friend Nora at the zoo!

IMG_9445
As much as I love my mornings with my eighth graders, this is my happy place.

IMG_9570
Stopped by Columbus Commons for some Jeni’s!  The food truck court is open 11-2 every Thursday until October!

IMG_9583
I mean…

IMG_9626
Celebrated papa!  We sure love him!

IMG_9666
Started reading The Nightingale.  SO GOOD!

IMG_9804
I love having E be big enough to sit up front now.  REALLY frees up a lot of space in the cart.  Plus, now I have a people watching buddy!

IMG_9838
Y’all.  If you are local, you MUST try Pistacia Vera.  Must.

IMG_9849
I look a hot mess because I just generally am and when a stranger takes your photo you only get one shot.  But, I had to share.  It’s baby girl’s first baseball game and we take our baseball games very seriously!  And by seriously I mean we mostly just love to eat and drink outdoors.

IMG_9889
Oh, the high chair.  What was once a fun place to be because she could sit up, has now become a cage.  Feed me, then get me outta here!  We have also started trying sippy cups and E loves them!

IMG_9917
We have a fairly graceful crawler!  She gets where she needs to be!

IMG_9943
While we were out running errands, E fell asleep in her Solly wrap which has become rare because she just wants to watch everything.  It warmed my mama heart!

IMG_9979
Yesterday, Eleanor had her six month well visit and she did so great!  She is about 20 pounds which puts her in the 94th percentile, 55th for height.  We love our pediatrician if anyone local ever needs a great one!

The last month has gone by so quickly!  I feel so very thankful for my summer with Eleanor.

And now…the moment you’ve all been waiting for…the winner of the Freshly Picked Giveaway is…ANNA P.!  Congrats!!  Be on the lookout for an email from me later today!  Thank you to all who entered!!

I hope you all have a great day!
Erin
