Good morning, friends! I cannot thank you enough for all of the kind words and love that you all showed us after we made our special announcement last week! We are over the top excited and are thrilled that we can finally share what we’ve been up to with you guys!

I am a wee bit of a planner and over-preparer, but Matt and I have not decided if we are going to find out the gender. So, I have been trying my best to load up on all things gender neutral, but some things are just too cute to pass up! Eeek! It’s all just so fun.

Here’s what I am loving this week for mama and baby!

1. Warby Parker Quinby in Aurora Sunglasses.

2. Kate Spade Beryl Green Stud Earrings.

3. Saint James Stripe Shirt. Bummer–this beauty is sold out. Looks long and roomy–two musts these days.

4. Orange Scallop Pillowcase. I am on the hunt for cute pillows for the nursery. Since we may not find out, I am trying to stick with neutral colors. Orange is a neutral, right?

5. Design Mom: How to Live with Kids: A Room by Room Guide.

6. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps. I have been slathering this stuff on like nobody’s business. Stops the itching and feels like it’s preventing stretch marks?

7. Girl’s Knotted Headband. June and January is seriously the cutest shop for girl’s clothes. Gah. I want everything!

8. Swell Water Bottle. Trying to stay hydrated in this heat!

9. Madewell Transport Tote.

10. Freshly Picked Moccasins. Seriously so cute. Need them in every single color.

11. Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush. 12 hours? Yes, please!

Hope you all had a fantastic week and have a very happy weekend!
Erin

Good morning! Today I wanted to share a major find I scored over the weekend! This tote and crossbody come as a set for a steal at $29.50!!

Forever 21 typically stresses me out, but if you can spot it quickly, you can find some seriously good stuff.

I cannot wait to wear these everywhere this fall!

Have a great day guys!

Current literary obsession:
Where’d You Go, Bernadette
By: Maria Semple

If I learned one thing from this book, it’s you should always judge a book by its cover. How darling is the cover? The contents were just as darling.

Just before a celebratory Antarctic cruise, Bernadette, Bee’s mom, goes missing. The search for an eccentric mother by an equally eccentric child makes for a great, quick read. I don’t want to give too much away…but the twists will definitely keep you mesmerized.

Happy reading!

My current literary obsession:
The Twelve Tribes of Hattie
By: Ayana Mathis

This holiday provided not only some quality time with my friends and family, but also some much needed R&R with some good reads. Towards the end of last year I was definitely all business in the literary department.

This novel was a great start to my literary adventures in 2013. It reads a little like The Poisonwood Bible that I did a review on here. Each chapter looks at each of the descendants of Hattie. I like how the book shows how each descendant takes something different away from the same joys and hardships that the family endures. You get to know each character so well during their chapter and then it is so exciting to hear about them in subsequent chapters through other character’s eyes. By the end of the book I felt like I should start back at the beginning to read with new eyes because the story was so well woven in detail. I hope you find this as much of a page turner as I did!

Happy reading!
