Just like I predicted last month, we’ve entered the honeymoon phase of babies.  Claire is a dream baby.  She sleeps all night without waking (about 7 to 7) which I know will NOT LAST, but a mama can dream and hope that it will last just one more night.
She weighs in at 21 pounds and is eating 5 meals PLUS about 35 ounces of soy formula a day.  She is super mobile, climbing, crawling, and close to walking on her own.  She can stand on her own for several seconds and can walk along from surface to surface or with the walker.

Like I said, she sleeps all night with the help of the Dockatot–maybe only waking once to get a paci, but usually not.  And then she takes one solid nap from about 12-2 (same as E–she skipped right into toddler naps which has worked out kinda nicely).  She only has two bottom teeth and I know the two top aren’t far away so I am anticipating a few sleepless nights here soon, but feeling good so far.

She loves the bath, all of the food, following E around, snuggling, doing that blowing sticking out tongue thing (what is that called?), and standing at the play kitchen, oh and a spoon with some peanut butter on it.

I had to include some pictures of both of the girls here even though I swore I wouldn’t because I do want this to be about Claire, but this month Claire has been OBSESSED with Eleanor so it was only fitting E butted herself into this photo shoot and Claire was so happy about it.  E thought maybe some naked barbies would be a good addition and C did not hate it.  So I added the adorable bunny hats and I realized all of my dreams have come true.

These girls are my everything.  We love you little C!  Time to start planning that FIRST birthday!!!!

And here’s E at 9 months!

Hope you all have a great week!!
Erin

For filling Eggs, we headed to the dollar section at Target and snagged up some cute little toys and we are just going to stuff some clearance v-day candy/fruit snacks!

It was so nice for the first few weeks of April! Sunshine was just what we needed.

And then the Easter bunny came crashing down on E’s whole world.  For real, I love that the mall we had this taken at took the time to edit and frame this keeper.

If you caught my Insta Story, egg dyeing went a lot different in my head than it did in actuality.  She thought they were golf balls so she chucked them as soon as she could get her hands on them.  Then she just dipped her fingers in all the dye.

I posted a roundup of my favorite spring styles for the toddler girl and boy!  So much cuteness out there!!
IMG_6258
Gah.  This girl.  How cute are these sunnies with that smile??
IMG_6311
I seriously couldn’t wait for E to get her Easter basket–so much fun!!

The egg hunt was also a total success!  This dress was so perfect for Easter!

I shared an update on E’s swim lessons here!

We spent an awesome day as a family in Grandview…I posted all about it here!  And there’s still time to get yourself entered to win a $25 gift card! Hurry, it ends Sunday!

Got some extra time with family last week as we said goodbye to my sweet Grandma…

My sister threw us the sweetest sprinkle for baby girl last weekend with our families.  Baby girl is already so loved!
I am dying over these sandals and this book!

I am officially 36 weeks today and am getting QUITE anxious for baby to get here!  Other than the final touches–the major thing we wanted ready to go was baby girl’s room and E’s big girl room and it is officially done!!  I will be sharing pics next week!!!

I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
Erin

Ps. If you still need ideas for that special mama in your life, I posted a gift guide here!  Just a little over a week left!

The weather has finally been nice enough to get out and play a bit.   We definitely have an outdoor girl on our hands.  She will just start bringing you items one by one to put on her and yourself…coats, hats, etc…and then will grunt and point outside.  I really need the nice weather to stay because my toddler does not understand fickle Ohio weather.

I posted about E’s Transition to her new room and one adjustment we’ve made is having her sleep with her Grand Dockatot in her crib first before we switch her over to using it in her bed.  She’s been sleeping so well ever since…no more waking up at night (knock on wood!!!!).  Be sure to check out the whole post for links to items and to see what else we’re doing to make the transition a bit easier!
IMG_4459
I also posted about E’s eating and we celebrated St. Patrick’s day in style!

I posted all about what’s going in the girls’ Easter baskets–I cannot wait!!!

Little miss diva’s uncle Paul came to town so we headed down to the Brewery District and had a fancy lunch at Rockmill Tavern!

I finally got my hair done over spring break and when I went to pick up E at the sitter she didn’t recognize me.  Yowza, gotta do maintenance more often.

I wrote a post about trying out this stroller that will eventually become our double stroller!

E’s first trip to the zoo of the season!  She was very unsure of the large animals like the gorilla, but LOVED the animals that she sees on Barney and in her barn books.  She waved at them and everything.  Pretty much the cutest thing ever.  I cannot wait to take the girls this summer!
IMG_5329
Seriously, can it please stay warm out all year long?!
IMG_5447
It’s been a mix of sun and rain here in Ohio which I kind of love!  So fun to be outside right before the storms roll in!

E graduated to Mini 2 at Goldfish!!  I posted an update this month here!
IMG_5657
Last weekend we got takeout from Milestone 229 and headed down to the river with some friends to have a picnic and walk around!  It is seriously so gorgeous down there!

I am almost 32 weeks and starting to get to that really uncomfortably large stage so picking up E has become quite the task…especially when she just wants to run after ducks and trash.

Time seems to be flying now that we are in the home stretch…June 2 will be here before we know it–we’re ready to meet you baby girl!

What have you all been up to?  Hopefully out there enjoying the sunshine when you can get it!!
Hope you are having a fabulous week!!
Erin

Good morning!! Ah, I could just squeal!!  I love love love holidays if you can’t tell.  I have had these baskets ready pretty much since Valentine’s day.  The holidays are such a point of tradition for me.  I grew up with every single holiday being a big deal and I can’t wait to start traditions with our girls.  Eleanor already gets so excited about the littlest things and it is just so fun to watch.  Makes my mama heart explode.  All of these factors sends this mama into overdrive for all things holiday (St. Patrick’s day post coming next Friday with a pretty sweet giveaway so stay tuned for that!!).
So, today I’ve paired up with Finn + Emma to share some ideas to fill up those baskets for the littles this year!  I absolutely love the look of the pieces that Finn + Emma make.   The bicycle and hedgehog are going to be perfect on baby sister’s stroller this summer!  Plus, they are organically made and eco safe!  The pieces could not be more perfect for spring/Easter!

Eleanor’s Basket (found basket at Target for $1):
Dreamcatcher Pajamas from Finn + Emma
Chick and Bunny Socks
$1 Target bubbles
$3 Beauty Kit from Target Dollar Spot
Filled another bag I found at Target for $3 with Books and stickers (from Target dollar spot):
Stuck
Hooray for Hat
The Tiny Seed
Happy Easter, Mouse!
Found the Eggs at Target and will fill those with:
Toddler Fruit Snacks
Cheddar Bunnies

Other ideas for toddler basket:
Sidewalk Chalk
Hair Accessories
Pouches

Little Sister’s Basket (found basket at Target for $1):
Mini Rattle from Finn + Emma
Bicycle from Finn + Emma
Hedgehog Stroller Set from Finn + Emma
P is for Peter Book

I am so excited about all of the pieces from Finn + Emma.  They are such nice quality!  And bonus!  If you click through this link you will see a coupon code for 15% off a purchase of $50 or more!

Now I just have to patiently wait to give all of these things to Eleanor for another month or so.  Hmm…

Hope you all have a great weekend!
Erin

Ps. you can also check out last year’s basket for E for more ideas!
