Today, 28 years ago, a very special girl was brought into my life and I am so proud to call her my sister.  She is the smartest, funniest, and most sincere person I know.  She wears many hats these days, but she will always be my Nennie girl!!

AND…we get to see each other in 12 hours!  My mom, dad, brother, brother-in-law, and of course the birthday girl are meeting Matt and me in Nashville for the weekend!!  It has been since Thanksgiving since we have all seen each other, so to say we are excited would be a gross understatement.  Prepare for an Instagram overload!

Have a great weekend, friends!
Erin

Good morning! Happy Friday, friends! It is that time of year! Time to bust out the sappy love songs, roses, candlelight dinners, and best of all: your favorite pen and cheesy Valentines you picked up for all of your classmates! Yes, this holiday is cheesy, but I love it! I love an excuse to tell the people I love just how great they are. And who doesn’t love getting a little snail mail? Here are my picks for this lovey dovey day!

1. Heart BKR Water Bottle.

2. X’s and O’s Card.

3. Red Glitter Tape. On sale for $1.20 with code COSMIC40!

4. Pink Pen.

5. Love Matchbox.

6. Heart Stamp.

7. You’re So Dope Card.

8. Sending You My Love Postcard.

9. Hey Sugar Lips Gummies.

10. Kids’ Sew Lovely Kit.

11. You Are So Incredible Awesome Tea.

Have a great weekend!!

Three years ago today, I said ‘I do’ to my best friend and true partner in life. We had such a happy day with our friends and family, so I thought I would share a few photos since I didn’t have the ol’ blog way back when!

All photos done by McDonald Studio!

Hope you are all having a very happy day!
Erin

P.s. You can also take a look at last year’s post for a few more photos!

Phew! What a weekend!! Natalie and Tad had the most beautiful wedding. The entire weekend went flawlessly and now Tad has whisked Natalie away for a week in MONTEGO BAY! How he was able to keep that a secret for 1.5 years is beyond me!!

Today, I thought I would share a few photos…they are mostly from what I was able to capture on my phone!

The week leading up to the big day was full of errands and pampering. I was put on the handwriting tasks as soon as a I arrived. Hello doctor handwriting. Even the errands were fun. We obviously found time to sneak in some margs and queso.

The bridal luncheon was at The Raphael Hotel. Pomegranate mimosas, macaroons, good company.

After we successfully rehearsed, we were off to Fogo De Chao and got our feast on. Delicious. Natalie and the bridesmaids then returned to our hotel room for a good ol’ fashioned sleepover!

The next morning, we got up and headed to Belle Époque to get our hair and makeup done.

Mother’s Day

family, love, Mom, mothers day

mom, erin, and nat

We know it’s the day after Mother’s Day but we happen to think our mom is pretty dang fabulous that she deserves an extra day!

Here are the top 5 things we’ve learned from our momma:

1. Never leave the house without lipstick on, preferably a bright shade of red or pink.

2. You have to really dig to find ‘treasures’ at antique malls. We owe all of our antiquing skills to her.

3. There is always something else to look forward to. When you get sad that a certain trip or event is over, there’s always something else to plan and be excited about.

4. Take one day at a time. We heard this a lot when we’d call her crying over failed tests or difficult boys. It’s still the best piece of advice she gives us.

5. Raising three kids and working a full-time job is totally doable. And you can do it with style and grace.

Mom, we love you more than words can describe! We’re so lucky to have you as our mom.

Nennie and Erin
