Good morning!  Although our school has been back to the grind for almost three weeks now, many kiddos are packing off to school for their first day this morning.  Whether you are a student, teacher, or just love a good excuse to purchase new supplies and redecorate, this time of year is full of office and school inspiration.  I love Pinterest so much.  I use it for inspiration for so many things.  Today, I wanted to share a few images that have left me inspired for the new school year!

  1. 10 Inspiring Home Offices via Harper’s Bazaar.  Each image is prettier than the last.

2. Back to School Gift Jar via Oh Happy Day.  Imagine a teacher’s delight at seeing this beauty come across their desk.  Or really anyone for that matter!

3. DIY Folder Organizer via Sugar and Cloth.  Ok, I cheated on this one–I actually spotted this one on my other source for inspiration, Instagram.  Find out how to make this amazing organizer from a $6 dish organizer here.  Talk about magic!

4. Good Advice Wall via My Attic.  It is my goal this year to fill my classroom and my house with inspiring messages.  Sometimes a quick reminder is all you need to stay inspired!

What has you all inspired this year?  For all those headed back to school or those in need of a little back to school inspiration–I will be sending lots of positive vibes your way today!

Good morning! Phew! Long time no see! Sorry about that!! Since I have started Whole30, Matt and I have been spending a lot more time on meals and dare I say, working out!? Last weekend I attended a fabulous yoga session and vegan brunch–more on that later in the week! I’m feeling strong and healthy! So here’s a little Whole30 friendly fall Pinspiration for ya!

1. Mexican Chicken Chili. Erin over at House of Earnest (a fellow Columbus blogger!) is simply fabulous. Everything she creates is divine. If you haven’t ever checked her out, hop to it!

2. Gold Leaf Pumpkin. I volunteered to decorate a pumpkin to auction off at our school’s fall fest! Ummmmm. This looks easy enough?!

3. Witching Time of Night Print.

4. Chuck Roast with Balsamic and Dijon. Yum.

Happy Tuesday!
Erin

Around Our Home

Good morning friends! Today, I thought I would share a few details from around the new house! We still have a ways to go on the bigger picture (hello new couch and tv!), but we love how these little details are things we’ve collected along the way!

Over the holidays, as we got holiday cards from our friends and family, we clipped them up on the mantel. Well, come February, I was still not ready to see them go. So, I’ve just been slowing switching them out with pretty pieces of mail. I’m loving the extra touch it gives our mantel.

My dad made us this gorgeous table and we decided it is the focal point of our house. Our house is an open concept ranch and this is at the center. We absolutely love it. Thanks, dad!!

Matt spotted this picture frame, sans backing, at an antique mall so we decided it would be adorable to frame a small chalkboard space. He is so crafty. I love it.

So–I won this Stone Textile pillow via Liz at Grey and Scout and I am obsessed. So gorgeous. Plus, paired with this throw–perfection.

This pouf defines my happy. I bought it about a year ago in anticipation of the moment I would place it in our house. It was the first item I moved in. The hubby hates it, so it resides in my lair, the office, nuzzled in close proximity to my stationery collection. Obviously.

Happy Thursday!
Erin
