Yay!!  The 360 LilleBaby carrier that I posted about here (what E is in!) is only $90 today on Amazon!  This is a great deal considering you can use it from newborn to toddler on the front or the back!  This is normally an almost $150 carrier!!

This would make a perfect shower gift!

Let me know if you snag this deal!
Have a great weekend!

IMG_5031IMG_5024IMG_5063IMG_5052IMG_5078IMG_5090IMG_5096Good morning!!  Happy Monday, friends!  Spring break is officially over for these gals, but we definitely made the most of our time together.  I realized they were the last days I will have off before baby arrives as I am due the week we get out of school.  There is definitely a bittersweet feeling with that realization.  We are so excited and SO ready to meet our new little baby girl, but with that also comes the worry about our #1 and what it will all mean for her.  So, I really tried to soak up the mommy/daughter time.  With the exception of a two hour hair appointment, we were out and about town together everyday!
Pretty soon we are going to need the double stroller to do all the fun things E and I have been able to do.  It’ll be summer time when this babe is born as opposed to December like E so there will definitely be a need for a double stroller ASAP.  phil&teds contacted me to see if I wanted to try their Dot Stroller with double attachment and I jumped on it!  We have loved her poppy highchair.  The products they make are really high quality and have a little bit more style to them so they aren’t such an eyesore.

We tried it out this week as just the single and it was really simple to pop her in and out of…especially at the zoo when we did it a thousand times between animals.  The rail on the front is really nice for her to grab onto and pull herself up a bit.  I did find that the actual seat sits up higher too so she can see better.  Eleanor doesn’t want to sit for long in our other stroller because I don’t think it sits up high enough for her liking.  She was really content in this seat the entire time we were at the mall and while we were at the zoo, she even crossed her little feet at the bottom footrest.  Swoon.

I am excited to put on the double attachment and get that part figured out!  Post will be coming soon on that!  When we were thinking about double strollers, we mostly thought about size–this is a really compact version of a double stroller which will make it nice for when I just take the girls places because those doublewides are SERIOUS.  Not sure I’m ready to wield something like that by myself.

What features do you look for in strollers?  Good features? Bad features?

Hope you all have a great start to the week!
Erin

Also: Be sure to head to my Instagram page where I am giving away a Doddle & Co. Pacifier in Coral!  Ends Friday!!

We went to Memphis at the beginning of October and Eleanor and I conquered her first flight!  She was a bit of a wild one on the first flight, but slept the whole way the second flight there and both on the way back!  We are going to Arizona over Thanksgiving and the flight will be significantly longer, but at least Matt will be with us!  Also, this backpack.  I can’t.
IMG_0249.JPGMemphis is just the cutest.  We hit up this restaurant after a morning at the Memphis Zoo!

Speaking of zoo…This one of my dad and Eleanor kills me.  Kills me.  They were attached at the hip the whole trip.

Eleanor had THREE costumes this halloween.  Each one: pumpkin, bear, bee was so worth the screams to get them on.

Dear fall, we love you.

Apple picking: very serious.

We had to hold her hand to get her to stand still for five seconds.  Pumpkins and leaves everywhere.  How’s a girl expected to stand still for a picture??

We had a wedding a couple of weekends ago and Eleanor literally danced until she passed out.  We couldn’t get her off the dance floor.

Kansas City, you guys.  If you haven’t ever been, you must.  I would 100% move back there in a heartbeat.  As a final summer hurrah, we headed to KC for five days.  We filled our days eating Kansas City BBQ, visiting Deanna Rose Farm, hanging out with our friend, Jane at the Nelson-Atkins art museum, stopping at Fritz’s (where they deliver your food on a train!), and exploring Union Station.   E and I caught up with our good friend Margi, and her daughter shopping at Easy, Tiger in the West Bottoms and then Lunch on the Plaza!

It was so, so much fun having Eleanor see and explore all of the things that brought me so much happiness as a child!  Only bummer was that the Royals weren’t in town!  I guess that means we just have to head back!

Things are back to being busy, busy around here with the new school year!  I hope you are all staying cool in these sweltering temps!

Have a great weekend!
Erin

baby, baby shower, bump, gift, Life, style, travel

I have several close friends and family members who are also expecting little bundles of joy here in the next few months.  It has been so much fun chatting with them about the strangeness that is pregnancy and of course showering them with gifts and love!

While in St. Louis for my cousin Katie’s baby shower, it was a must that we stop by the Kate Spade outlet.  Talk about a dangerous place.  Sensory overload.

The babe and I at 18 weeks!

After returning from St. Louis, I pretty much hopped right back in the car and headed down to West Virginia where I meet my Richmond teaching friends halfway a couple of times a year.  It is a time I look forward to every couple of months.  I miss these girls like crazy and feel so blessed we have remained close!

As soon as I arrived at our hotel, they had the sweetest surprise baby shower set up, complete with sparkling lemonade and cupcakes.  Baby is already so loved!

Upon returning from travels feeling puffy and tired, the reality of heading back to school hit me square in the face.  The only remedy was gathering my supplies for my classroom and heading over to get it all set up.  Every year this immediately gets me excited for the new year.  We had our teacher work week this week and the kids start Monday and I can honestly say I am ready and excited to get back to it!

The babe and I at 19 weeks!

We got to see our peanut this week!  The best part of the appointment was looking over at Matt and seeing his face as he watched our little one squirm around.  He is going to be the best dad.  Next time we see you little one, you will be in our arms!

I thought I would close with the photo that has left us giggling all week.  As soon as the person doing our ultra sound saw this pop up on the screen she exclaimed, “woah, big feet!”  We had to laugh.  Mama and papa both have very large feet and we have always said this kid was doomed to have clodhoppers!  Sorry, kiddo!

So, what have you all been up to?  Hope you are enjoying the sunshine! Have a great weekend!
Erin
